BROWN COUNTY MENTAL HEALTH CENTER

The Brown County Mental Health Center provides inpatient, outpatient, nursing home and community/contract services. Inpatient services are provided in three specialty units serving children and adolescents, adults and alcohol/other drug abusers. Outpatient services are provided for the mentally ill and/or abusers including:

  • Individual Therapy
  • Family Therapy
  • Group Therapy
  • Medication Management Evaluation
  • Case Management
  • Specialty Clinics
  • Occupational Therapy
  • Court-Ordered Assessments

CRISIS CENTER

The Crisis Center provides free professional, short-term counseling for persons of all ages in Brown County. Its purpose is to intervene in a personal crisis as skillfully and quickly as possible to stop ineffective behaviors and return people to the level of coping they had before the crisis.

The Crisis Center will see people with any type of problems, including but not limited to:

  • Alcohol and Drug Issues
  • Anger Management
  • Anxiety
  • Depression
  • Divorce/Relationship Breakups
  • Domestic Violence
  • Grief and Loss
  • Housing
  • Major Life Changes
  • Mental Health
  • Parent/Child Conflicts
  • Runaway Youth
  • Suicide

NEW CURATIVE REHABILITATION

N.E.W. Curative Rehabilitation has served Northeast Wisconsin for more than 50 years with quality services helping children, adults and families become independent members of our community. N.E.W. Curative Rehabilitation provides comprehensive rehabilitation services to people with disabilities, the elderly and those with special needs, providing them the opportunity for independence and integration into their communities. N.E.W. Curative serves more than 2,500 people per year with more than 30 programs.

FAMILY SERVICES ASSOCIATION OF BROWN COUNTY

The primary clients of Family Services are individuals and families needing assistance in facing life’s challenges and transitions. Assistance includes:

  • Counseling Services
  • At-Risk Youth Programs
  • Employee Assistance Program
  • Crisis Services
  • Early Childhood Development

THE N.E.W. COMMUNITY CLINIC

The Northeast Wisconsin Community Clinic offers a range of healthcare services to low-income and uninsured people throughout the Green Bay area. Founded in 1971, the N.E.W. Community Clinic has three locations to serve the Green Bay area. Two are in downtown Green Bay and the third is located at the Northeast Wisconsin Technical College campus. Together, the three clinics administer 12 programs including:

  • A free clinic that serves 5,000 adults and children annually
  • Health check physicals available at daycare centers and schools
  • Prenatal case management
  • Primary care and case management for the homeless
  • Nursing care at six area schools
  • Immunization outreach
  • A free dental clinic

SEXUAL ASSAULT CENTER

The Sexual Assault Center provides services 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to victims of sexual violence, their families and friends. Services are confidential and free-of-charge. The Sexual Assault Center provides services for women, men and children, including:

  • Crisis intervention
  • Supportive counseling
  • Follow-up assistance
  • Support group assistance
  • Medical and legal advocacy
